bartender wages

One great thing about being a bartender is the scenery changes every night. Bartending can get hectic when people are crushed up against the bar trying to place their orders and the wait stations are filled with waiters and waitresses trying to place their orders.

An excellent bartender can provide instant acceptance and a universal form of recognition which one of the things that customers want. This way you can get more raises or opt for more top shifts. The bartender must know his way in, out and around his bar to avoid confusion and to save time and energy especially when he is catering to a party of a thousand people.

A Julep is a popular drink and is made of bourbon, sugar, mint and crushed ice. This will get people to the bar so you can work your bartending charm. So cordiality and positive body language is regarded as special qualities of bartenders.

Make it your priority in your interview to make the interview feel more like a conversation. Let's face it, to be good it takes more than just serving a good drink.
