bartenders guide

This site will expose some of the myths of bartending jobs and show you the steps to getting your first bartending job. There are many movies which glorify the life of a bartender as non stop action.

If you have ever really watched a bartender at work then you will notice that it takes a lot of concentration to deal with multiple orders for beers wine, and cocktails, while maintaining a good level of customer service and making sure the crowds happy as well as keeping the bar area tidy, multitasking of the magnitude takes more skill that you would imagine. If they are not good enough and you do not sense happiness with all of your customers, then perhaps you need to consider replacing your bartender, maybe even replace that male bartender with a highly professional, skillful woman bartender. Not only is it unnecessary but your lies will be discovered and your job will be at risk.

Bartending school teach students how to set up the bar, how to keep the alcohol fresh, and how to make sure everything else is neat and sanitary. Since bartenders are responsible for taking money from customers and providing them with correct change, cash handling is also covered in bartending school. Many bartending jobs will only require that you fill out their application.

The bartending career can bring about lots of money. Do not believe the myth that bartenders need to know hundreds of recipes.
